Abstract:
This GIS data set is a one-minute grid that will serve as a graticule in various scales. One-minute graticule mathematically generated by FMRI (Norris). Coordinate rounding errors minimized by creating multiple fishnets E/W of central meridian and N/S of central latitude.
Purpose: To represent a one-minute graticule in vector format.
Supplemental_Information:
Prior to July 1, 2004, the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute (FWRI) was known as the Florida Marine Research Institute (FMRI). The institute name has not been changed in historical data sets or references to work completed by the Florida Marine Research Institute. The institute name has been changed in references to ongoing research, new research, and contact information.
AAT allows 1-, 5-, 10-, 15-, 20-, and 30-minute lat/long interval to be reselected. PAT shows actual degree/minute values. A very dense data set.
